Amid concern about the soul less development of Manukau, the City Council commissioned a “sense of place” document.
Chris worked with management consultant Jillian de Beer, to propose a palette of colours, textures and designs which reflected the ethnic and economic diversity of the region.
The challenge was to develop a user-friendly document for council staff which translated creative, academic notions into a workable template for developers, builders and architects.

Chris worked for Household Linens for about four years, building the brand as the company grew from one store to three.
She worked with the owner and marketing manager to develop the brand and design consistent catalogues, brochures, labels and point of sale material.
She was particularly successful in helping to establish a new seasonal campaign for linen in the same way as it exists for clothing.
